Technology

The technology behind Hansa Mixer has contributed to the success of major brands world-wide. Without our foaming, mixing and dosing systems, many products would not exist in today’s quality – e.g. tasty chocolate foam kisses, comfortable seats or durable artificial lawns.

In order to be able to realise the widest variety of product ideas, we have constantly improved our procedures and adapted them to the individual requirements. The result is modular, high-precision technology which can mix and/or foam the doseable media just as stipulated by the recipe: gases, fluids and solids. For greater efficiency and sustainability in the food and non-food-industry.

Foaming

Regardless of whether the product is thermal insulation, mattresses or cotton candy – the foam technology determines the quality of many modern products. In a very short time Hansa Mixer will make any desired type of foam possible – for the widest variety of applications in the production of food and non-food products.

Mechanical foams: synthetically manufactured materials with alveolate structure and low density. Cna foam nearly all fluids.

Unstable (or collapsing) foams: predominantly foams in the non-food-area, which collapse directly after their use. The objective is to make the mostly chemical substances extremely light in order to be able to dose them precisely.

Metastable foams: Foams that are stable at first and then collapse after contact with an activator e.g. heat or cold.

Stable foams: Ideal for making life easier. This can be baked goods or sweets that are smoother and creamier. They can also be lattice mattresses and seals that always return to their starting form.

Financial and Ecological Advantages:

  • Conservation of raw materials, personnel expenses and energy in the re-processing
  • Fully automated, production absolutely conforms to recipe
  • Uniform product quality and weight – unlike production using other propellants
  • Highly attractive foam products – e.g. comfortable consistency and feel

Areas of Application:

Food: e.g. aerated confectionery products, baked goods, dairy products, cheese products, toffees, soft caramels, chocolate bar fillings, etc.

Non-Food: e.g. textile coating, impregnating coats, mattresses and pillows, carpets, PVC floor coverings, artificial turf, paper industry, construction industry, technical textiles, artificial leather, leather, etc.
